I appreciated how my tutor helped me think critically and structure my paper. She is a very good listener and has helped me so much when I'm experiencing writer's block.

The tutor lets you do the work yourself and simply opens your eyes to how your writing can be improved.

My tutor was an amazing help. She helped facilitate what I could change, all while having it be my own work. I love that she did not flat out tell me the answers but helped me think through different ideas. She was absolutely wonderful, and I will definitely be coming back again!

I liked how a whiteboard was used to list topics I needed to talk about, then smaller concepts within that to talk about. That helped me visualize it better, and then to also write ideas down as well.

My tutor really helped me realize the point I was trying to make and organize my thoughts in a way that makes sense, which is so hard to do! You guys are amazing. :-)

Fall SEMESTER HOURS

Afternoons--F2F Tutoring in the Writing Center (beginning on Sept. 11)
Mondays-Thursdays,  1-5 p.m.
Fridays, 1-4 p.m.

Evenings--F2F or *Video Conferencing (beginning on Sept. 11)

Mondays-Thursdays, 7-9 p.m.

*Video conferences occur online live in eastern standard time and use both the mic and the camera on your computer. Thus, if you choose this option, make sure both work well! A video conference replicates F2F tutoring in many ways and is a great option for those rainy or cold winter nights when you don't want to trudge through the bad weather to the Writing Center. :-)
