Please note: The Writing Center is now closed for the semester. However, if you need assistance during finals week, email Prof. Julie Moore at @ a day in advance, and she'll set up a time for you to meet with a Writing Center tutor who'll be "on call" next week, Monday-Thursday afternoon. Do not contact writing center tutors personally; they have their own exams to study for and papers to complete. You must go through Prof. Moore.

All appointments default to 30 minutes in length; however, if you are really struggling with an assignment and feel you need 60 minutes instead, you can extend the session length on your pop-up appointment form to an hour. Just make sure your tutor works the entire hour you're selecting. So that we can be accessible to all students, you're limited to one hour of tutoring per day.

If you come for help on two different assignments for two different professors, make two separate appointments; that way, each professor can receive our report on each session. Try, however, to stay with the same tutor for both appointments. Avoid making two half-hour appointments with two different tutors on any given day.
